For this assignment I had to use two sounds to create a narrative. I imagined an astronaut who's lost in space and seemingly incapable of dying. He's confused because he hasn't eaten or had anything to drink in the longest time but somehow the homeostasis of his body is just in a sort of perpetual limbo. He's lost all hope of being found and at this point is just withering away from sheer loneliness. Then one day he sees a ripple in the distance. The ripple is a sort of plasma-type being in the shape of a human body. It cannot speak but it emits a sort of comfort. The astronaut falls in love with this entity and the loneliness he felt slowly drifts away.

For this assigment I had to choose two contrasting emotions so I chose the act of falling in love and the act of realizing you've fallen out of love with someone. I wanted to express how full of life and potential a new relationship often feels but the moment you begin to feel that the life is starting to fade it becomes a very lonely endeavor.

This assignment required me to choose two different scenes and apply a song I felt was appropriate. The first scene I chose was that of a farmhouse in the midst of a gentle snow storm. The second scene was that of an intersection in a city on a rainy summer night.

For this assignment we had to narrate two different moments of our lives with contrasting sound. The first moment I chose was sometime around 11 or 12 in the morning/afternoon on a Sunday when I'm walking into to town to get breakfast. The second moment I chose was 11 or 12 at night when I'm usually getting ready for bed and taking a smoke outside.

For this assignemnt I had to use sound clips to represent two different locations. The first is supposed to represent a quiet night in a suburban household in the fifties, sometime around 8 or 9pm, after all the kids have gone to bed and the husband and wife are preparing to shut all of the lights out so they can follow suit. The second sound clip was meant to represent the same time of night but about 30 to 40 minutes away from the suburbs in New York City in a jazz club in Harlem where the night is just beginning.
